Materials
- Small amount of yellow yarn
- Small amount of green yarn
- Stuffing
I’ve been on a serious lemon kick lately — lemon meringue pie, lemon curd cake, lemon and blueberry curd layered tarts… so naturally, I had to keep the theme going with a free lemon pattern!

Leaf
Start with green
1. ch 10, starting in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 2, hdc 2, dc 2, hdc 2, in the last ch, sc 5, continuing on the base of the chs, hdc 2, dc 2, hdc 2, ch 4, turn [21 + 4 chs]
2. start in the 2nd ch from hook, working in the base of the chs, ss 3, continuing to work around the leaf, starting in the 1st sc from round 1, sc 2, hdc 2, dc inc 2 times, hdc 2, sc 3, ch 2, in the 2nd ch from hook, sc, sc in the last worked st on the leaf, sc 2, hdc 2, dc inc 2 times, hdc 2, sc 2, ss
Fasten off and weave in ends

Start with yellow
1. sc 6 in a magic ring [6]
2. sc in each st around [6]
3. (sc, inc) 3 times [9]
4. (sc 2, inc) 3 times [12]
5. (sc, inc) 6 times [18]
6. (sc 2, inc) 6 times [24]
7. (sc 3, inc) 6 times [30]
8. sc 2, (inc, sc 4) 5 times, inc, sc 2 [36]
9-17. sc in each st around [36]
18. sc 2, (dec, sc 4) 5 times, dec, sc 2 [30]
19. sc in each st around [30]
20. (sc 3, dec) 6 times [24]
Stuff firmly, continue stuffing as you work
21. (sc 2, dec) 6 times [18]
22. (sc, dec) 6 times [12]
23. (ch 1, skip the next st, dec) 4 times [8]
24. (dc in skipped st, pushing ch behind work, sc in dec)
4 times [8]
25. sc in each st around [8]
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing
Weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the opening, then through the turning ch on the end of the leaf stem
Stuff the opening using your hook to push the stuffing through
Pull to tighten, then weave the yarn tail through the last stitches in round 25, weave in ends
