Introducing our free crochet pattern: Dana the Dino!
Get ready for a roaring adventure with yarn! I am so excited to present my newest free pattern: a cute and cuddly dinosaur that’s sure to spark the imagination of crocheters of all ages. Dana is a very basic pattern, which gives you creative freedom to personalize your new toy! Choose a range of colours, or stick to monochrome choices, add more spikes, or even add some spots!

Crochet Hook: 3.5mm /E
Yarn: Medium weight (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable)
Other Supplies: Polyfil

Side Spikes: (make 2)

Fasten off invisibly leaving a long tail for sewing
Center Spike
Repeat the instructions for the side spikes, then continue working:

Finish stuffing the body

Fasten off, weave opening closed and weave in ends
Assembly
Fold the spikes flat before sewing
Sew the center spike to the top of the back, around rounds 29-35
Sew the side spikes 1-2 rounds away from the center spike
Position the feet where you would like them and sew to the under belly, stuffing as you sew
Embroider eyes between rounds 9-12
